The first step in setting up your future blog is deciding just what you’re going to blog about. You can choose one simple niche, like “How to play the bass guitar” or start a Luxury Travel blog, or you can go for more of a lifestyle blog that encompasses more than one topic all tied in together.
The more passion you can put into each post, the more likely you are to stick with it, and the more likely readers are to subscribe to your blog and stay loyal so what goes on in your life, or what would you like to go on in your life that you want to blog about?
If you’re not sure yet what you want to write about, begin by writing a bio about your life, your interests, goals, dreams, accomplishments, etc. Post that intro into the Facebook Group with the hashtag #whatsmyniche and see what other group members have to say about it. You might glean a great idea from the group, or the discussion may help lead you toward choosing your own.
I write about my whole life. I’m a spokesperson for body acceptance, and against body-shaming. I’m a plus size blogger with little fashion sense, a great big family, a love of adventure, and I hike for fun and exercise, and all of that goes into the blog.
